Update your contacts – – Now that you’ve created profiles on networking sites, use them. Connect with everyone you know, because you never know which contact may be able to help you with your job search or put you in touch with someone who can;
Get some help – There are lots of tools that can help expedite your job search and manage your career. Use them to organize your job search and save valuable job searching time;
Crush that interview – Research the company before you go for the interview, dress appropriately, practice answering and asking interview questions, and make sure you dazzle the interviewer with your skills, experience, confidence, and expertise.
Update your skills-Go bakc to school or take a class to learn a new skill. If you are unemployed taking a class during your down time will fill in the gap on your resume as well as update your skills to make you more marketable.
